Volunteer Opportunities:

• Companionship Volunteers work directly with patients providing companionship, offering friendly visits, reading to patients, writing letters, offering a gentle touch or sharing a quiet moment. We are most in need of Companionship Volunteers.
• Complementary Volunteers use their unique talents to provide comfort through music, reflexology, and guided imagery. We are specifically seeking volunteers for touch therapies, making this a perfect opportunity for massage therapy students looking to make a difference while honing their craft. Help us provide the specialized care and relaxation our patients deserve.
• Pet Therapy volunteers provide certified/trained pets who visit with patients. These animals provide loving memories for some and give unconditional love helping our patients feel connected to a larger world. Pet Therapy Volunteers make a tremendous impact on our fragile patients.
• Remote Volunteers support our team behind the scenes by assisting with clerical office duties (address cards, organizing newsletters and  other tasks) or by becoming an Advocacy Volunteer, providing a supportive voice to caregivers through remote check-in calls.
• Bereavement Volunteers offer support to the families and friends of patients who have passed. During the grieving process the bereavement volunteer can be a valuable resource, especially for those who lack a support network.
• All hospice volunteers will receive free hospice training prior to embarking on patient visits.
