Welcome to the Ennoble
Care Hospice Volunteer Program

At Ennoble Care, we believe in the power of care that honors the patient and in the difference a kind presence can make in a patient’s life. Our hospice volunteers are at the heart of our mission to provide comfort, dignity, and support to patients and their families during very challenging times. Whether through companionship, assisting with daily activities, or offering a listening ear, volunteers play a vital role in creating a compassionate environment.

If you have a passion for helping others, are seeking to make a meaningful impact on  your community, and want to be part of a caring team, we invite you to explore the many opportunities available in our hospice volunteer program. Together, we can provide the warmth and support that truly matters.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Companionship Volunteers work directly with patients providing companionship, offering friendly visits, reading to patients, writing letters, offering a gentle touch or sharing a quiet moment. We are most in need of Companionship Volunteers.
  • Complementary Volunteers are certified/trained professionals who can provide complementary modalities of reflexology, music, imagery and touch therapies such as Reiki, massage, therapeutic touch and healing hands.
  • Pet Therapy Volunteers provide certified/trained pets who visit with patients. These animals provide loving memories for some and give unconditional love helping our patients feel connected to a larger world. Pet Therapy Volunteers make a tremendous impact on our fragile patients.
  • Administrative Volunteers provide help to the staff in our office by assisting with data entry, address cards, organizing newsletters, collating manuals and other varied clerical duties.
  • Bereavement Volunteers offer support to the families and friends of patients who have passed. During the grieving process the bereavement volunteer can be a valuable resource, especially for those who lack a support network.
  • All hospice volunteers will receive free hospice training prior to embarking on patient visits.
